Studland Summer Camp is a friendly, quirky, off-beat, tent-focused
naturist campsite in a rural setting, with simple facilities and
a unique character. To the founder of SSC, Roger Tripp, running
the site was a labour of love. His enthusiasm for the camp spread,
and ensured a welcoming atmosphere and a real sense of community
spirit, inclusive of people from all walks of life.
Roger, along with a small band of helpers, continued to run SSC
for nearly 40 years, until his untimely death in early 2020.
The baton of responsibility was handed to long-time SSC goer Simon
O'Connell who, after being a regular for nearly 20 years himself,
shares Roger's zeal and intends to continue SSC in a way that Roger would have approved.
People who stay at SSC often go home with treasured memories of
a great holiday as well as a keen anticipation of the next time
SSC opens its gates for another season.
It is of little wonder that people return to SSC year upon year:
Studland Summer Camp is a truly unique experience.
